2 Jennifer & it's sequel Hits DVD!!

Spencer, a director, wants to make the perfect sequel to the film To Jennifer.
He goes to Los Angeles to meet with Mack, the producer of the film. Here's where the process gets strange. Spencer has to have an actress named Jennifer to play the lead part.  Felicia Rose has a hilarious cameo as one of the rejected Jennifers.   Spencer and Mack finally pick their Jennifer. Before she is picked, Mack acts with her in a scene, and it becomes apparent the Mack has feelings for Jennifer and that Spencer has feelings for Mack.  Then the killings begin. And the ending was a wtf moment. So devilishly good. This is a must see movie.

# From Jennifer
Jennifer Peterson is having one hell of a week. First, she gets fired from her photo shoot, her agent drops her,  her boyfriend breaks up with her and then puts out a sex tape with her in it. Oh, and her friend Stephanie is a very popular internet star due to her filming everything that she does. Jennifer decides that she wants to become an internet celebrity, by shooting a found footage film called Revenge Porn Revenge. The movie has a few stages to go through. The first one is hiring a bodyguard that will do anything she says. In walks Butch Valentine, played by Derek Mears (Friday the 13th remake). Butch is having a bad week which mirrors Jennifer. Split with his boyfriend, lost a job, etc. The two go through phases to make the movie. Step one is funding, where they rob Stephanie of the money she is depositing for her employer.
Next they need to get three guys for their movie. After that is completed murder ensues.

Derek Mears really stands out in this dark comedy horror film.  As does Meghan Deanna Smith who plays Stephanie.
This a good movie, so go check it out.

New from the People who brought you Fangoria & Gorezone comes!!!

Announcing the birth of
Issue #1:
May 12th, 2017 - Veteran print media figures Chris Alexander (editor of FANGORIA, GOREZONE, DELIRIUM, KISS Magazine and horror editor at www.ComingSoon.net), Brian Steward (writer and artist for HEAVY METAL, FANGORIA, KISS Magazine, DELIRIUM) and legendary designer Bill Mohalley (VAMPIRELLA, CREEPY, FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND, FANGORIA, KISS Magazine, DELIRIUM and dozens more) have teamed up to start a new publishing company specializing in the production of niche culture magazines.

Announcing the birth of FANTASM MEDIA GROUP, a venture dedicated to the creation of high quality, limited edition and officially licensed magazines focusing on some of horror, dark fantasy, rock and roll and pop culture’s most celebrated names. For their first issue, Alexander, Steward and Mohalley are excited to be creating a magazine DEADicated to one of cinemas most revered auteurs and the man who refined, perfected and popularized the modern zombie mythos: writer, producer and director George A. Romero (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, DAWN OF THE DEAD etc.).

“This is a logical step for us,” says Alexander of the partnership.

“Bill has been making magazines for over 40 years and my working relationship with him making 6 years of FANGORIA magazines – though he has been their art director since 1983 – yielded not only dozens of exciting mass produced magazines but an enduring friendship. Brian is a revered fine artist and writer who has been working in the industry for years and the three of us have continued working together on DELIRIUM magazine with great success.  We have a shared love of print media and horror movies and pop culture and FANTASM MEDIA is our bid to create beautifully produced magazines made exclusively for the collectors market. And to kick off with a licensed tribute to our friend and hero George A. Romero is an honor indeed.”

“Monster magazines were a huge part of my childhood and I love making them with these guys.  It only made sense to strike out on our own to create the kind of high quality collectible magazines we wanted to see, but never did.  A lot of people think print is dead, but the truth is, print will never die.  The need to hold a magazine or book  in your hands will always be greater than the need to have a picture of it on a screen.  Digital is fine, but I can't put that on my shelf,” added Steward.

“I’m honored to be the first cat featured in this new series,” says Romero.

“And I absolutely love the cover art! Here’s to many more great magazines to come.”

The FANTASM MEDIA magazine series will be available at select retail outlets and directly from www.fantasm-media.com and a pre-sale will be announced soon.  Look for Fantasm Media to have a presence at fan conventions across the U.S. and Canada in the coming year.

FANTASM presents George A. Romero (whose first issue will focus primarily on Romero's beloved "Dead" films) is now in production and will be available for purchase in August 2017.

Full Moon’s startling, critically acclaimed seven-part horror series continues with the third and wildest episode yet – RAVENWOLF TOWERS 3: SECRETS IN THE WALLS.  The show, which tells the dark saga of a family of incestuous lunatics lording over the remains of a looming, formerly opulent and now dilapidated Hollywood hotel, is directed and produced by Charles Band, who continues  to release one episode every full moon.

Synopsis:  Sensing a threat to her family and her secret plans, the mysterious and beautiful Matriarch, Mary La Velle, orders the sinister Dr. Lorca to uncover the truth behind one of the Ravenwolf's newest tenants, Vampire Hunter and Psychic Investigator Ivan Ivanov. Lorca, in turn, hires a local Detective, the quick-witted no-nonsense Shona Baltimore, who quickly discovers more than she ever wanted to know not only about the Vampire Hunter Ivanov, but also about Jake, who has his own secrets, about the supernaturally powerful Mary, and about Mary's monstrous, murderous grandson Samson…

Like a cross between SPIDER-BABY, DARK SHADOWS and TWIN PEAKS, RAVENWOLF TOWERS follows the gruesome and bizarre adventures of Jake, the new assistant manager at ‘The Towers’ who is soon subject to the horror at the heart of the building: guests disappear without a trace, mad doctors meddle with madder science, degenerate monsters lurking around every corner and beautiful women are not what they seem.

New Ttitles from Arrow Never dissapoint!

New from Arrow Video US

on DVD and Blu-ray (March 14)

on Blu-ray (March 21)

via MVD Entertainment Group

MVD Entertainment Group furthers the distribution of Arrow Video in the US with two amazing releases tailor made for cult and horror fans.

First out is Takashi Miike's classic Dead or Alive Trilogy starring Riki Takeuchi and Show Aikawa as their various characters deal drugs in Tokyo, put their yakuza assassin skills to good use and even meet cyborg soldiers in future Yokohama. Each film deftly shows off Miike at the height of his skills, and weaves a captivating tapestry of crime, action and character study.

Next up is a franchise any horror fan around in the late 80s and early 90s will recognise: House: Two Stories Limited Edition [House 1 & 2] which has a gorgeous 2K restoration of the first two films. With each film telling a different tale, and getting increasingly bonkers as the series goes on, the House films are equal parts funny, scary and entertaining. As much a joy for fans of weird cinema as they are for horror lovers.

Earlier in March, Arrow splits up the Death Walks Twice box set and offers Death Walks On High Heels and Death Walks At Midnight both on DVD and Blu-ray. These two films by Luciano Ercoli are beautifully restored Italian horror classics, with plenty of bonus features.

Beginning with an explosive, six-minute montage of sex, drugs and violence, and ending with a phallus-headed battle robot taking flight, Takashi Miike's unforgettable Dead or Alive Trilogy features many of the director's most outrageous moments set alongside some of his most dramatically moving scenes. Made between 1999 and 2002, the Dead or Alive films cemented Miike's reputation overseas as one of the most provocative enfants terrible of Japanese cinema, yet also one of its most talented and innovative filmmakers.

In Dead or Alive, tough gangster Ryuichi (Riki Takeuchi) and his ethnically Chinese gang make a play to take over the drug trade in Tokyo's Shinjuku district by massacring the competition. But he meets his match in detective Jojima (Show Aikawa), who will do everything to stop them.

Dead or Alive 2: Birds casts Aikawa and Takeuchi together again, but as new characters, a pair of rival yakuza assassins who turn out to be childhood friends; after a botched hit, they flee together to the island where they grew up, and decide to devote their deadly skills to a more humanitarian cause

And in Dead or Alive: Final, Takeuchi and Aikawa are catapulted into a future Yokohama ruled by multilingual gangs and cyborg soldiers, where they once again butt heads in the action-packed and cyberpunk-tinged finale to the trilogy.

Each of them unique in theme and tone, the Dead or Alive films showcase Miike at the peak of his strengths, creating three very distinct movies connected only by their two popular main actors, each film a separate yet superb example of crime drama, character study, and action film making.

Bonus Materials

- High Definition digital transfers of all three films
- Original stereo audio
- Optional English subtitles for all three films

Reviews for the work of Chris Alexander:

Blood for Irina: “... a hypnotic, bombastic, audacious, challenging & enveloping cinematic experience.”

Queen of Blood: “…there is an aesthetic beauty to it that makes it visually stunning. It has a breathtaking and exquisite look to it.” —HorrorFreakNews

Female Werewolf is what Alexander calls a ‘fetish’ film, driven by obsessive imagery, sensuality and music, favoring beauty and emotion over graphic gore and shock but still filled with darkness and dread.” —Dread Central

Blood Dynasty shows Alexander sharpening his aesthetic approach.  The photography shows a new carefulness in how shots are framed and composed.  The editing displays a sharper command of rhythm, with certain shots and patterns of shots artfully revived throughout the film like the visual equivalent of motifs in a musical composition.  The score also has a new sense of grandeur, with some score cues having a heavy, prog-rock feel that brings a surprising oomph to certain sequences.” - Schlockmania

Reviews for the work of Barbie Wilde:

The Hellbound Hearts Anthology: “Barbie Wilde’s ‘Sister Cilice’ is devastatingly haunting, piercingly erotic and is one of the true stand-out stories of the anthology.” —All Things Horror

The Venus Complex: “Damaged people, ultraviolence, murder and explicit sex — what’s not to love about her work?” —Fangoria
Voices of the Damned: “…sensual in its brutality.” “As much a chilling collection of frightful fiction as a delight for the darker senses, this is a satisfying triumph in a befitting, unforgiving, style.” —Publishers Weekly Starred Review
Reviews for the work of Nivek Ogre:

“(Ogre) has a presence about him and the theatrics that go with performing music live do him well in film...” AintItCool.com

“In Queen of Blood, Nivek Ogre has a breakout scene that will have audiences disturbed and astounded by his ability to literally throw himself into a role.”
Wylie Writes
“Ogre’s visual presentation—both personally, and the construction of the sets and costumes—is the skin and soul of the Skinny Puppy show.” Fangoria
