Wrecker a total Duel Rip off!

So the minute I saw this Poster I thought Duel Rip off but i hoped going in I would see something original I was optimistic only to be let down this film is almost Due shot by shot except for a couple minor changes, First off I wanna ask the readers who remembers Duel? IT was about a truck that terrorized a driver being one man played by Dennis Weaver. Wrecker is a Diesel Sized Tow Truck doing the exact same thing to two girls, In Duel This truck follows Weaver everywhere, he stops at a diner, the truck in parked outside, Weaver leaves the diner & the truck continues to follow him and at moments vanishes & then reappears at the end Weaver wins the truck goes off a cliff. In wrecker two girls are followed by a tow truck, they stop at a diner the truck is outside waiting, The girls continue on the truck goes away and comes back, at one point the girls get a flat & decide to run for it, the driver trips and knocks herself out on a rock, wakes up & her friend is gone, later we find her friend is in the girls trunk and her flat tire was fixed by the Tow truck driver apparently. More truck terrorizing & then finally at the end she knocks the tow truck off a cliff  & the movie ends. If you wanna see a good scary movie about a truck go out & get Duel this is just pretty much a remake with a different name with some girls thrown in and a kill (Trunk) It was a bit entertaining but it did not have anywhere near the suspense that Duel did, I wouldn't waste my time with this one.

New From Dire Wit Films It's Pig Pen

I have always been a fan & supporter of Dire Wit Films & there latest Pig Pen is one of their more serious films. I wouldn't go so far as to call this a Horror film It is more of a Hardcore Drama with some great Gore. Pig Pen Tells the story of a young boy forced from his home by his mothers abusive boyfriend to go & fetch some money to pay his way, the boyfriend is a real dick. The story follows the skater kid on his sorta homeless journey with flashbacks of his fucked up home life & what he & his mom go through with this asshole boyfriend she has, Twd the end of the film while sleeping on the streets The boy gets kidnapped by some child molester guys & they are getting ready to film him getting rear ended by a jock guy in a gimp get up, but the boy escapes and chops them up. He returns home to find his mother has also been chopped up by the dick boyfriend & so he chops him up the end. Like I said this is not a Horror Movie it is really a drama & is definitely entertaining to watch the boys trial on the streets and you feel for the character we all know that these dickhead white trash tweeker fathers are out there. I thought this was a decent film but don't go into it with the notion it's gonna be funny or a Horror movie, like i said its a hardcore drama that makes you wanna take a shower afterward, not a bad film but not something i'd spend money on. I prefer Dire wits classic Horror spoofs a lot more but with pig pen we get to see the talent & diversity of these filmmakers.

Chill The Killing Games-Sector 5 Films...A Review

Chill The Killing games starts off with old footage from the 80's of a game being played where you are given a box with paper in it if your's says yes you are the Killer & everyone else has to hide & try not to be killed not really killed of course but play dead until the game is over if you are caught by the one holding the yes card. Something went Horribly wrong in the 80's and people playing the game were  actually slain, The old footage we start off seeing is actually a young man in a classroom giving a report on an assignment to his glass, when his teacher shuts him down before he is done. It turns out that this kid plans on reviving the game with help from some former classmates to be played in the same location as the murders in hopes of getting a deal for a web series possibly to market the game for profit. Fast  Fwd, the new Game starts people are getting Killed again, this time it's for revenge somebody didn't approve because the first game caused the killer to lose there kin, The killer is later revealed...But who was the original Killer that my friends you just have to get this movie & find out One thing I liked about the film is it keeps you guessing. Overall I think this movie had heart & there was some decent special F/x, clever writing & even some funny parts, I enjoyed this one & with a bigger budget I think this could of been something really special, This is a decent movie for those who don't always need a Blockbuster film for entertainment . Indie film fans go check out Chill you won't be sorry & you'll get to see some huge titties!
