THEY CAME FOR DINNER...TO FIND THEY WERE IT!!
Microwave Massacre stars legendary stand-up comedian and actor Jackie Vernon as Donald, a disgruntled construction worker whose wife's predilection for haute cuisine drives him to cannibalism. Donald unwittingly stumbles upon a solution to his two major problems in his life - his nagging wife and his lack of decent meals - when, one night, he bludgeons his better half to death with a pepper grinder in a drunken rage. Thinking on his feet, Donald dismembers the body and sets about microwaving the remains, which turn out to be rather delicious. Trouble is, now he has a taste for human flesh that needs satisfying... Eschewing all notions of good taste, Wayne Berwick's Microwave Massacre is a deliciously depraved exercise in political incorrectness that has gone on to gain a cult following thanks to a characteristically deadpan performance from Vernon, who delivers such choice lines as "I'm so hungry I could eat a whore." Vegetarians need not apply! The Mutilator Arrow Films Blu Ray Review
I did just that and still have my VHS copy to this day, but I like many other anxiously awaited its hopeful one day Blu ray or DVD release & it finally came Thank you Arrow Films who have done an amazing job and have gone out of there way and put 110% into bringing you an amazing package. Not only does the film look amazing but the special features all the pics and research they did shows they really care about giving you an amazing product. The Mutilator tells the tale of a young boy that accidently kills his mother.... Fast fwd years later a group of young kids have decided to party in dads old hang out by the beach where all this happened & judging by the artwork for the film you can just use your imagination on what happens next. That brings us to the Special FX a lot of people may not know Anthony Showe who is given Top Bill on the VHS Cover for F/X also worked on Chopping Mall, Freddy's Revenge, Satan's Storybook, & Saturday the 14th so the F/X in the Mutilator absolutely delivers. I would recommend picking this up and that any & all horror fans really take a look at Arrow films and what they have to offer, they are really putting out some great stuff.
